Cybersecurity for connected vehicles
BackFirst time exhibitor, Irdeto, will be showcasing its Cloakware for Connected Transport solutions, which provide state-of-the-art software protection for keyless entry to today’s vehicles, and cybersecurity defences for tomorrow’s autonomous vehicles.
Keystone, for example, is a secure vehicle access and safety solution.
Irdeto will also be demonstrating its cutting-edge cybersecurity solution for connected and autonomous vehicles. The technology combines network security with software security on a vehicle’s ECU, allowing manufacturers and their tier-1 suppliers to detect tampering and anomalies in order to protect against and respond to cyberthreats.
Niels Haverkorn, general manager, connected transport, Irdeto, said, “The more fleet and heavy vehicle operators rely on connectivity, the more vulnerable they become to cyber attacks, and this makes the fleet sector a key audience for Irdeto as we work with partners and customers to protect the industry against cybersecurity threats. This increasing connectivity makes it imperative to inherently protect the software that runs in vehicle fleets, not just the perimeter, and cybersecurity must be top-of-mind to ensure that drivers, vehicles and systems are safe from cyber attacks.”
