Fleet industry training body ICFM supports Fleet Management LIVE 2017Back
ICFM will promote the benefits of professional training for managers in the fleet sector as a partner at this year’s Fleet Management Live 2017.
The fleet industry training body aims to promote the profession of vehicle fleet management within industry and commerce.
It develops strategic partnerships to promote the profession and provides structured education and training programmes, which are designed to meet the needs of both newly-appointed and established vehicle fleet managers and those whose job responsibilities include fleet.
In addition to providing accredited, vocational qualifications recognised and accepted throughout the industry, it also acts as a forum for sharing best practice techniques among members and advances the profession through ongoing research.
Paul Hollick, ICFM chairman, said: “Managing a fleet is becoming more complex every year, with changes to technology, new tax rules, new legislation and a shifting political environment. This makes it more important than ever that employees involved in fleet, whether directly as fleet managers or through other departments, have the right skillset to introduce best practice and lead change in their businesses.
“We are delighted to partner with Fleet Management Live to help companies on this journey.”
As a partner to this year’s show, the ICFM will raise awareness among its hundreds of members, including fleet operators currently undergoing training, and attend the event to provide advice and information to visitors from every area of the fleet market.
This year’s show caters for fleets in all sectors, with suppliers, specialists and presentations for managers involved in fleet from every department, ranging from fleet to transport, finance, procurement, HR, risk management and mobility management.
It is also designed to cater for fleets of all sizes, from large companies through to SMEs.
Chris Lester, event director, said: “The ICFM is well-respected as the driving force behind professional fleet management training in this industry and I am delighted they are supporting Fleet Management Live.
“Their attendance recognises the central role Fleet Management Live has in the fleet calendar and will help to promote the benefits of professional training to hundreds of fleets operators who attend.”
