The newly rebranded Maxus, formerly LDV, will have its Deliver 9 and E Deliver 3 vans on show at Fleet & Mobility Live this year.

The new vans play a key role in relaunching the brand as Maxus looks to increase its share of the fleet market with fleets looking for a mix of diesel and electric solutions.

The show will once again be held at the NEC in Birmingham over two days on October 6 and 7.

The full specs of the Deliver 9 Euro 6 2.0-litre diesel large van are still under wraps for now, but Fleet & Mobility Live may be its public debut and the first time fleets can get up close to the new model.

The eDeliver 3 will come in short and long wheelbase versions with a range of up to 127 miles on a single charge.

The eDeliver 3 has cargo volume space for five cubic metres on the short wheelbase version and 6.3 cubic metres on the larger model.

The small electric van also has 250nm of torque on offer and a max payload of 855kg and 1,000kg on the short and long-wheelbase version respectively.

Mark Barrett, UK and Ireland general manager, said:

“This year will be our biggest ever with these new models on new platforms creating the perfect timing to rebrand as Maxus.

“It’s really important that we have this mix of electric and diesel engines on show at a time where fleets are looking to increase their plug-in vehicle fleet mix, but there will still likely be a split between the two fuel types depending on operational need.”

Barrett said Fleet & Mobility Live is a key opportunity for delegates to learn more about electric vehicles and for the Maxus team to engage with current and prospective customers to hold their hand and guide them through the way the fleet industry is changing towards electric propulsion.

He said: “We will be there to help fleets embrace electric with elements around assessing suitability for electric vehicles as well as how they can manage charging.”

Visitors to the show will be also able to take part in a range of seminars and theatre sessions, hearing from 20+ expert speakers on how to tackle and resolve many of the key issues in the fleet and mobility industry.

There will also be more than 110 exhibitors at the event, ranging from vehicle manufacturers and leasing companies to telematics and data suppliers.
