Mobileye, an Intel Company, is a global leader in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, autonomous driving, fleet safety and accident prevention. Mobileye’s technology helps fleets to reduce traffic accidents and cuts both direct and indirect costs. Their system can be installed on existing vehicles, adding automatic driver alerts to today’s fleets. Mobileye were on hand to talk about safety and autonomous driving trends, and how fleets can benefit from the very latest autonomous driving safety technology today.

TravelSpirit.io is a dynamic project, curated to incubate, grow and evolve the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and Connected & Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) eco-system. By building a global network of transport operators, software developers, businesses, policymakers, planners, and activists across the mobility and technology sectors; Travelspirit provides an open framework for the provision of new mobility services.

Thatcham Research

Thatcham Research is fast becoming recognised as the global expert in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology and testing, and shared the latest research and insights around the benefits of current and future technologies, as well as key operational and financial management considerations such as reparability. The team were on hand to answer questions, talk through individual technologies and provide information on what vehicles have which ADAS technologies, so that Fleets can develop informed ADAS purchasing strategies.
Key Thatcham Research staff on stand were:

  • Colin Grover, Principle Engineer for Automated Driving who has been leading Thatcham Research’s ADAS test and research programmes, and has been pivotal in the development of Euro NCAP’s ADAS test protocols
  • Thomas Hudd, Operations Manager of the Research Technology Centre who is leading our research into ADAS operational considerations such as the cost of repair and calibration

Zipabout showcased their Zipabout Mobility-as-a-Service platform, a ground-breaking data aggregation and communication platform for the transport industry. It is a large scale, real-time big-data platform which consumes, process and normalises live streams of operational, environmental and passenger-level behavioural data across an entire transportation network. Advanced machine learning techniques identify data patterns, allowing transport operators to gather highly detailed passenger behavioural information, predict service disruption, optimise capacity and deliver fully personalised communications at an individual level.

Immense Simulations

Immense Simulations showcased first of a kind, city scale, predictive simulation tools for fleet managers. By understanding and simulating the transport network across entire cities, our tools deliver unparalleled insight that drive greater efficiencies and cost savings. Fusing together novel, disparate data sources with machine based learning underpinned by deep sector knowledge, we deliver both strategic & operational enhanced decision making capabilities.

Edg-VR will create a scalable, multi-subject training workshop for Anglian Water. The training covered subjects such as driving safety, vehicle inspection and roadside maintenance.  The training was delivered using mobile VR technology, networked via a wireless hub.

Toyota is the world leader in the electrification of passenger car powertrains having sold more than 10.7 million petrol electric hybrid and plugin vehicles since we pioneered the technology 20 years ago. 4 out of 5 electric vehicles in the world today is a Toyota or Lexus model. As every other manufacturer follows our path we are now leading the next phase in electric powertrain development, the hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle.

Our Corporate CarSharing solution, AlphaCity is an innovation in today's world of mobility. This fresh alternative to grey fleet, pool cars and ad-hoc rental vehicles has already proven to reduce fleet mobility costs.
